1. Give your Data View a title. The title should describe what this particular data view will show. In this example, we are Combining data, so it has the “Combined” in the title.

  2. Select your Data Source. This will be a dataset that you’ve previously uploaded. Once selected, the Preview Table (on the right side) and Columns will automatically populate.

  1. Scroll down to the Columns section. Choose the column(s) to add to your custom Data View. In this example, we’ve selected GEOID and Most Common Species as the Data View Columns.
    1. The Preview Table on the right side will automatically populate a preview with the columns you selected.

  1. From here, you can filter your data further. If desired, click “Add New Filter” and follow the prompts to filter the data to the values desired.
  2. When you’re finished, click the button “Save Data View” at the bottom of the page.
  3. Your Data View has been saved! The page will refresh, and under the Preview Table, you’ll find your Data Endpoints. You can now use this Data View to publish data as a table or on a map, visualize it as a chart or graph, or continue to analyze.
